Encino: Reviews & Ratings
Our first time having dinner here and it was fantastic! Our server, Destiny, was great and very accommodating. The bar was running a little slow but she checked in frequently to make sure we were taken care of. Highly recommend the Oaxaca mole. Will be back soon!
We made reservations for this evening at 5pm. We arrived and were promptly greeted by the hostess and shown to our table. It was raining and the hostess was so kind and offered to take my coat and hang it up. Our server, Danasia, was phenomenal!!!! Knowledgeable, informative and made GREAT recommendations. We had a bottle of Chenin Blanc, which was beautifully presented and Danasia made sure our glasses were never empty. The atmosphere, the food and the service were top notch. All the dishes looked almost too good to eat! We had Tetelas for an appetizer, the Caesar salad (made table side), Chocinita Pibil, and the grilled Mahi Mahi. The owners of Encino did NOT miss a thing. The decor, the music, the choice of stemware and tableware were perfect. Did I mention the restrooms were spotless? Highly recommended!!!!
This was my second time visiting Encino and it’s still a 10/10 for me! Everything I’ve tried so far has been amazing — from the lamb chops to the oxsysters and short ribs. The flavors are always on point, well-seasoned, and absolutely delicious. My favorite drink hands down is the Agua Fresca, so refreshing and tasty! Today our server Randy was fantastic he really took the time to explain the menu and suggested dishes that matched our taste perfectly. Encino continues to impress me and I can’t wait to come back again.
Wow, just wow! We went during the soft opening. We were greeted by friendly staff who led us to our booth ( there's also a bar area and an outdoor dining area. ) The decor is very chic, but inviting the lighting was cozy and the music eclectic enough and not too loud at all. I had the lamb while my wife had the filet. We had oysters Rockefeller as an appetizer. Our waitress led us through several drink options. We closed out the night with an after dinner, drink, and dessert, which was fantastic! Can't wait to visit again and experience their full menu… Greenville, you have no idea what you're missing if you haven't been there yet.
Ask for Christian if you have the option of servers. He was absolutely wonderful. Friendlt and knowledgeable, attentive but not overbearing. The decor is modern yet cozy and spacious. My husband and I decided to eat here as a lat minute decision. We both had the filet mignon. The side dishes are served in individual bowls that can be shared. We had the truffle fries, sweet potatoes, and mac and cheese. I can not describe how delicious our meal was ! Steak was perfectly prepared and the side dishes were outstanding. We will definitely return soon.
This was my family and I first time at Encino. I decided to go there for brunch today with my brother and niece. The food and atmosphere was fantastic!! Our server Randy was very knowledgeable of the menu and gave great recommendations on what we chose to order. I ordered the Beef Burrito which was not your typical burrito, my brother ordered the Chicken and Waffles. My niece ordered the beef baguette sandwich and the queso. Everything we had was absolutely amazing. We will be going back again for dinner.
My husband hadn’t been out on a date in over a year after becoming new parents. I don’t think we could have had a better experience at any other restaurant in Greenville. In a word, it was magical. The atmosphere is upscale but welcoming. The food was flavorful. I can’t remember the name of the cocktail I had, it had coconut cream in it- I highly recommend this if you enjoy coconut. I also tried the apple cider mimosa. It was also good but the coconut cream cocktail was divine. I recommend getting the Cesar salad as a course and ordering any of the items that comes with the grilled bone marrow on the side. If you enjoy steak, you will love the flavor of the bone marrow. We ordered desserts to go and enjoyed it with my parents at home. The Quattro leches cake was a hit at our house. The Pastel De Elote was my personal favorite. You can tell that they pay attention to detail in every dish served. Our servers Atiana and Honesty were very attentive and guided us through the menu. I’m very grateful for our experience. I hope Greenville will keep Encino around because it was an enchanting experience.
We tried Encino for the first time last night for dinner. They officially opened only this past week, so I will certainly give grace. I would recommend reservations, we walked in and they seemed a little stressed about that. By the time 6/7 rolled around, every table was full! The interior is absolutely stunning. We moved here from Boston and it truly felt like we were back inside an upscale city restaurant, which we’ve been missing here. Our waitress was absolutely wonderful. She went above and beyond to give recommendations and answer questions. Service 10/10. Food can use some improvement and I’m sure they’ll get there. My filet was probably the best I’ve had in Greenville. I didn’t completely love that it doesn’t come with any sides but that’s typical of a true steakhouse. My husband wasn’t impressed with the lamb. Our dessert was the crème brûlée but I think it was made wrong and was actually taken off our check, which we appreciated. All in all, we enjoyed the restaurant very much and we are so happy to have supported them in their first week. We spent $215 for the two of us, so maybe not a weekly option for us but we will certainly be back if we have visitors in town or a special occasion.
